Instructor: Liza LaBarge was born in Potsdam, NY in 1990. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a minor in Pre-Creative Arts Therapy, from the State University of New York at Potsdam in 2012. Her large-scale, charcoal drawings are constructed through merging of the real with the surreal to create allegorical works that synthesize historical and contemporary influences of femininity in order to depict highly dramatized theatrical scenes. She recently obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Studies from the University of Buffalo.

Pre-registration and pre-payment required.
