The festival will feature a bake sale, crafts, Christmas decorations, a white elephant table, and a luncheon.
A wide variety of home-made baked goods will be available, including pies, cakes, cookies, breads, and candy. Many all-time favorite treats will be featured, including apple pies and Magic Cookie Bars. There will also be many new and different goodies.
A selection of hand crafted items will be available including hand-knitted hats, mittens, scarves, baby sets, and dishcloths, and a variety of quilted items.
Everyone’s favorite, the white elephant table, promises to have a good selection of interesting items. Since one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, you may be able to find some irresistible items at a very good price. There will also be a selection of “gently used, previously loved” Christmas decorations.
The luncheon will be served from 11:30 until 12:30. It includes homemade soup, sandwich, and beverage, all for $5.00. There will be several soup choices, including tomato beef macaroni, turkey noodle, or corn chowder. Sandwich choices are egg & olive or chicken salad. For those with smaller appetites, just the soup or just the sandwich may be purchased for $2.00. A large cup of coffee, tea, or hot cider is $1.00.
The public is invited to attend this event. There is no admission charge, but a boxed or canned food item for the local food pantry would be appreciated. Desert mixes (like cake, frosting, or brownie mixes) are especially needed at this time.
