The Nicandri Nature Center’s second introductory Hatha Yoga class taught by Marie Kirwan, a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher, is tomorrow, Wednesday, July 5th from 9:00 to 10:15 am.
For those interested in signing up, there will be a series of 12 classes following the introductory sessions. The classes will provide a gentle introduction to one style of yoga in a naturally beautiful, inspiring indoor-outdoor environment. Persistent practice of yoga gives us greater flexibility, strength, endurance and balance. Keeping the spine supple keeps us young and active.
Persons of almost any level of fitness can practice yoga. You must be able to get up off the floor by yourself.
Sessions are free and mats, blocks, and straps are provided!! If you need a blanket or a cushion, please bring those.
The Nicandri Nature Center is funded by the New York Power Authority.
