Five Elements Living hosts Shelby and Mark serve creative, fresh-out-of-the-garden meals and stock their simple, elegant guest rooms with custom soaps, plush linens, and bathrobes.
Retreat Program and Schedule
9-11am: Arrive. We will show you around, give resources for creating a “retreat nest” (cushions, journal, tea, etc.), ask you to maintain social silence at this time, and provide reading and journal prompts (follow PROMPT 1 now) before gathering.
11am-11:30pm: Gather pondside (weather permitting) for introductions
11:30am-12:30pm Yoga and meditation
12:30-1:45pm: Lunch together
1:45-3pm: Nesting time to practice, read, journal (social silence in common areas)
3-4:15pm: Energizing activity (choose yoga with Sarah Jane or a country walk with Shelby)
4:15-5pm: Group acupuncture
5-5:45pm: Journaling PROMPT 2 (social silence in common areas)
5:45-6:30pm: Gather and share
6:45-7:45pm: Healthy dinner, wine available
8-10pm: Bonfire under the moon (in case of rain, mindful activities in the main space)
7-8:45am: Coffee/tea, pastry, fruit available in studio at your leisure
9-9:30am Short yoga and meditation led by Sarah Jane
9:30-10am: Final nesting. Journal PROMPT 3 (social silence in common areas)
10-11am: Final gathering. This is an opportunity to share thoughts and insights about creating and maintaining a fun, fresh, and fulfilling life. Our closing ritual includes a special treat!
